Hi, I’m Maria. I started my career as an architect and over time found myself increasingly drawn to the strategic side of design - understanding how people work, how organizations evolve, and how ideas can be translated into meaningful impact.
Today, I work as a Strategy Manager on Autodesk’s Forma Industry Strategy team, helping connect customer needs, market trends, and industry insights to strategic initiatives across the built environment. Before joining Autodesk, I spent several years in strategy and transformation consulting, supporting organizations with growth strategies, innovation programs, workshop facilitation, and cross-functional alignment.
What energizes me most is making sense of complexity - whether that’s facilitating a workshop, exploring future industry trends, or helping teams align around a shared vision. I’m particularly passionate about the future of the built environment, strategic placemaking, urban transformation, and the role design can play in creating more inclusive, resilient, and thriving communities.
I also have a long-standing interest in architecture and design solutions for remote and underserved communities, where thoughtful design, local context, and systems thinking can create meaningful social impact. I enjoy collaborating across disciplines, connecting ideas from different fields, and working with people who are driven by curiosity, purpose, and positive change.
