I received my license in architecture from the University of Costa Rica in July 2004. During my years in college, I gained experience as a draftsman, model maker, architecture assistant, and construction supervisor. That same year I moved to Taipei to pursue studies in mandarin language followed by a doctoral degree at the Taiwan National University of Science and Technology. Following my graduation from my Ph.D. program in Environmental Technology in Architecture, I worked for over three years designing for multiple types of buildings and urban projects in Taiwan and China.
In the search for more challenging opportunities, I moved to Singapore in 2013. Since then I have been living in Singapore, working in architecture design, as a software consultant and QA for a large multinational company and most recently as Research Fellow for the Nanyang Technological University.
