Software Product Management in the Life Sciences industry as part of a Fortune 500 company:
• Directed the design and development of Genetic Constructor genetic design software, determining the product’s feature set based on user interviews, user feedback, and market analysis.
• Interfaced with industry-leading scientists and other senior leaders of target client enterprises, gathering requirements and leading cross-functional Design and Development teams to translate expectations into features.
• Spearheaded marketing and communications efforts that led to negotiations with three global, multibillion-dollar enterprise clients within the industrial enzyme space.
o Successfully closed the product’s first sale, which amassed to $1.5M in revenue.

Automated, light-out laboratory facility development in a startup:
• Successfully acquired pilot customers, delivering customer support and experimental design and execution; built up to $500K in annualized recurring revenue (ARR) by 2016.
• Selected and negotiated the lease of an office space, designing the lab, sourcing all materials, hiring contractors, and more to, ultimately, facilitate the transition to the new space with only 4 hours of downtime.
o Achieved biosafety level 1 and 2 (BSL-1 and BSL-2) certifications within only two months.
• Specified requirements for hardware design and device integration into Transcriptic’s automated services, managing device research, implementation, and quality control for 12 distinct device classes.
• Influenced $25M budget in addition to strategizing business decisions and supporting fundraising efforts.
