Global Community Lead, Technology Centers, Autodesk
In both my professional and person life, I am the most passionate about connecting people to one another and to the resources they need. I feel that all of the knowledge, skills, and ingenuity we require to make big things happen is available to us if we know how and where to look.
I have worked with the Autodesk Technology Center residency program since its inception. I joined the Boston team before we had residents operating out of our space and played a major role in building out the residency there. I actively supported the development of the residency in San Francisco and Toronto and now head the Community team across all three sites. Outside of my (roughly) 9-5 with Autodesk, I am involved in a huge number of community-oriented, volunteer-run organizations (co-chair of Boston Society of Architects' MakeTank, resident artist at Washington Street Art, secretary of the New England Guild of Bookworkers, and women's captain of B2C2 Cycling Team, to name a few).
I am particularly focused on creating visibility and transparency within these communities, especially as it pertains to lesser-served groups, as accessing resources is much harder to do when you don't have knowledge of them. I do my best to consistently own my biases, understand what I don't know, involve myself in broader intersectional conversations, and treat people well. I am inclusive and effusive, high energy and high optimism.
