MORE

Martin has an extensive background in building software solutions particularly cloud native SaaS products and distributed realtime systems. He is passionate for engineering practice, architecture, platforms, AI, and CI/CD. Notably, he worked in the aerospace and defence industry where he focused on physical system modelling, e.g., radar and weapon systems, as well as distributed realtime simulation environments for flight training (C/C++, C#, .NET, network middleware). He also worked in human capital management and workforce management building solutions that use AI and built an AI Platform including various AI/ML Models.

Martin also played a key role in transforming a monolithic on-premise product into a cloud native SaaS product using a microservice architecture (GCP, Kubernetes, Java/Scala, Python). He worked for a growth-stage startup in field and home services as an executive responsible for scaling its cloud native products (Microsoft Azure, C#, Python).

Multiple papers were published and presented by Martin particularly in the context of his Masters and PhD in Software Engineering as well as throughout various conferences and local events.

On a more personal level, Martin enjoys participating in charity events particularly the Charles-Bruneau Foundation helping children with cancer.
