Principal Specialist in Infrastructure for our Product Insights and Diagnostics team at Autodesk.

Certified LUMA Instructor. Autodesk "Community Champion" 2018 winner. Lead mentor for a FIRST FTC robotics team (for students grades 5-8).

I am a dedicated, energetic writer, project manager, strategist, citizen scientist, and consultant with a variety of professional experience in journalism, public relations, research, technical writing, Geographic Information Systems modeling and analysis, Computer-Aided Design, human centered design, and government affairs. On the interpersonal, human side of things, I bring high EQ skills, notably a strong emphasis on empathy.

I work on a horizontal services team that supports users with learning content for Business Information Modeling (BIM) and Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction
(AEC) industry. The main applications that I support are Autodesk InfraWorks and Autodesk Civil 3D, although I also have experience with Revit, Recap, Navisworks, Inventor, and Fusion 360.

MORE

I like to brand myself as a storyteller. I believe that effective communication— whether it’s technical or creative writing, public relations, marketing, public speaking, content strategy, journalism, human centered design workshops, advertising or other media— boils down to factual, concise, compelling storytelling. With a background in strategic communications that spans technical writing, journalism, public relations, media relations, law and government affairs, I have years of experience crafting and delivering strategic content that makes a targeted, meaningful impact.

I am a proactive self-starter, with a strong work ethic and great attention to detail. In my personal time, I like to surf, freedive, fish, hike, forage wild plants and fungi, and make wheel-thrown ceramics. I'm also starting to teach myself some of the finer points of using a wood lathe at a local makerspace. Amateur futurist, avid reader of speculative futurism.
