I'm a privacy professional with a passion for turning compliance into a catalyst for creation, not a constraint on creativity. I believe privacy isn't just about locking things down, but rather about designing with intention, earning trust, and enabling innovation. My goal is to make privacy approachable, actionable, and even fun. Whether it's embedding privacy into product design or guiding teams through evolving regulations, I'm here to help build boldly and trust deeply.
Hi, I'm Jen. I'm a privacy professional and recovering attorney who firmly believes that privacy compliance isn't about locking everything down but about empowering people to build boldly and trust deeply. My professional career has not been linear but expansive, through federal agencies, national security projects, courtrooms, and classrooms. I've brought strategic thinking, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to long-standing privacy principles at every stop.
Before joining Autodesk, I advised on AI governance, privacy, and risk at the Transportation Security Administration. In that role, I helped shape emerging technologies used globally, enabling privacy protections for travelers worldwide. Before that, I served as the Enterprise Risk Manager for the Nevada National Security Sites, where I was charged with overseeing data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance risk for Department of Energy equities.
In my spare time, I moonlight as an educator, teaching constitutional law to college students who walk away from my courses with a newfound appreciation for the Fourth Amendment. Additionally, my certifications include the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) credential as an AI Governance Professional (AIGP), and yes, I am licensed to practice law in multiple jurisdictions in the United States.
