MORE

Hello - I'm a huge fan of Autodesk's Impact Team and pro bono program. I am a Strategic Partnership and Research Manager for Autodesk Research. I help engage external groups with internal Autodesk Research teams and projects. My role allows me to work across industries and research topics, which I LOVE! I learn something new every day. I have a strength in relationship development and project scoping and management.

I hold a bachelors degree in computer engineering and masters in instructional design. I started my career as a video game developer. I then went on to work in higher education for over 15 years, focusing on better serving underrepresented students within STEAM fields. My roles included Associate Vice President of Innovation at Southern New Hampshire University, spearheading transformative educational initiatives. I held multiple leadership roles as Associate Dean in STEM, operations, and innovation at institutions such as Coconino Community College, Western Governors University, and The University of Arizona. I enjoy connecting my previous experience to support impactful collaborations and research.

I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Sustainability. I am conducting research on shoe design and manufacturing, with a focus on customization and sustainability. I am very passionate about fostering and creating safe environments for diverse audiences, as well as supporting, promoting, and increasing women and underrepresented groups in design, architecture, construction, manufacturing, and engineering.

A few key projects I've worked on over the years:
- I led the programming for new 67,000-sqft academic engineering building. The project was on time and under budget. It was an amazing experience working with HGA architects and Skanska.
- A research fellowship with the Society of College and University Planning - https://www.scup.org/bio/angela-foss/
- The development of a virtual desktop program for online students
- Math readiness programming at multiple institutions
