I’m Graeme Fellows and I’ve just joined the Autodesk Gold team as a QA engineer. I'm a toolmaker by trade; more recently, a CAD/CAM programmer, and for the last 4 years I've been working with software developers in a more product-based role.

MORE

I spent the first 9 years of my career working for an automotive company in the northeast of England programming and setting various CNC machines. In 2010, I left the UK to work in Italy for Ferrari’s F1 team where I was the shift lead for the 5 axis wind tunnel machine shop.

I returned to the UK in 2014 and did some short contract work at Lotus F1 (metallic shop) before joining a company in the mould and die industry back home in the northeast of England. From there I worked in application engineering around the UK and Europe for Hitachi cutting tools (now known as Moldino) before another short contract in Italy for Toro Rosso F1 team. I returned to the UK once again to work for Rolls Royce as a contract manufacturing engineer and helped them with some method modernization projects for various Fan Disc commodities before Joining CloudNC in 2018.

In the 4 years I spent at CloudNC, I had a few different roles ranging from CAM team lead and estimation lead but, more recently, I was a resource for the developers to go to when scoping out projects, and also dealing with acceptance criteria working as part of a factory R&D team.

Traditionally, I’ve used Siemens NX and Hypermill for CAM although in the last year I’ve had access to Fusion also.

Hobbies are going to the football (to watch my beloved Middlesbrough), golf, hiking and travelling. My favourite place to travel to is the US (Las Vegas in particular), and I try and go at least once a year.
