Global Communications Lead for the Autodesk Technology Centers, MCP
As the General Workshop Lead at Pier 9, I have a wide range of skills, knowledge, and abilities. You can often find me in the shops consulting on design and fabrication. I advise on projects from conception, guiding people to the correct manufacturing processes and technologies. Other times I am project managing the workshop's customer and education engagements.
Before coming to Autodesk, I worked at UC Berkeley's College of Environmental Design where I helped set-up and run the Digital Fabrication Lab.
I have almost ten years experience working as a Furniture/Interior Designer and Fabricator. During that time I honed my design skills while learning about industry standards and manufacturing processes.
Spending a few years as an Event Planner sharpened my organizational skills fast! I am always on top of planning projects and don't freeze when thrown curve balls.
Besides work, I love to laugh, camp, cook, go fishing, biking with friends, snowboarding, sing karaoke and generally have fun. I also spend much of my time making projects for myself and friends anything from quilts, wooden objects, furniture to CNC'd personalized gifts.
