As a Software Quality Engineer, I am the last safe-keeper of the quality of the features that my development team releases. I first put myself in the shoes of a normal user expecting an intuitive browsing experience. And by prioritizing software quality, I make sure that released features meet these expectations. Moreover, I leverage my computer engineering background to make sure that what we deliver is done in the most effective way possible, prioritizing software quality. But as a citizen of the world, I grew up having to integrate in several cultures and I embody that in every part of my life now!

I work as a Software Quality Engineer in the Web Platform Engineering team which is responsible for delivering new features to the platform that hosts some of Autodesk's websites. As my responsibilities include testing the features that are released, quality is a priority in all that I do. I ensure that the features are bug-free, but also that the overall experience is great and cohesive. Moreover, I leverage my engineering background to help the team work more efficiently. I work in alleviating the manual tasks with the use of automation, research and setup the appropriate tools and processes, keeping in mind the latest trends and industry standard. For instance, I am involved in the effort to make the team follow the CI/Cd process.

I have a degree in Computer Engineering, which allows me to incorporate a way of thinking focused on problem-solving, efficiency and optimization into my day to day where I have to think as the user.

I consider myself as a citizen of the world as I have origins from two countries, lived in 3 countries, learned 5 languages and studied in 2 languages. By growing up being exposed to several, sometimes drastically different cultures, I learned to adapt to new environments but also appreciate the differences that I noticed. This has made me eager to learn new things and to apply what I know in new environments or disciplines. I am ready to take my engineering and user perspective skills wherever they take me. I enjoy working in teams, and I have been told that I bring a ray of sunshine in teams.
