Data Scientist at Autodesk — Let's imagine, design and help create a better world ✨️, COO
Hello,
I am Pranjali Ajay Parse, currently working as a Data scientist in the Data Products and Insights team at Autodesk. Digging directly into my expertise, my major areas of interests lie in textual data analysis, data management and data storytelling. I also love applying ML/AI in the real world scenarios where my work could actually make a difference. Being able to contribute to a Pro Bono project will not only help me apply my domain skills for a good purpose but also help me gain a better understanding of real world scenarios and complexities. I am looking forward to this wonderful opportunity and, am all set to make a difference! :)
Hello,
My name is Pranjali Ajay Parse, and I have an MS in Computer Science with a concentration in Data Science at University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I'm excited to be here and contribute to a project where I could not only use my domain knowledge for good but also make an impactful difference. With a Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering, and over a year of hands-on experience in performing custom analysis, designing data modeling processes, and building predictive models & automation pipelines, I am confident that I'd be a strong addition to your team.
While working as a Data Science Intern at Autodesk (San Francisco team—Remote), I gained substantial experience in working with large-scale data, creating automated AI-enabled dashboards using AWS and Power BI, and leveraging & developing new techniques to build new modeling use cases online. Further, during the course of my internship, I was able to improve performance of the Employee Activity Dashboard by 36%, and demonstrated a high capacity in picking up new skills, researching & analyzing requirements, and ultimately delivering features on time with few bugs.
Before working at Autodesk, I worked as an R&D intern at My Ally Inc in the field of Software Engineering and Data Science. I was mostly responsible for automating the interview scheduling and recruitment coordination workflow using Conversational AI and NLP. Further, I assisted in performing large-scale data analysis using AWS QuickSight and developed effective statistical models for prediction, classification, email automation and entity-extraction using Django and Keras, which helped increase the automation rate of Talent Lifecycle Management Software from 30% to 44% across several clients.
Interning at these companies provided me with the opportunity to put my coding knowledge to work—developing and testing products for the marketplace. At both Autodesk and My Ally Inc, I demonstrated my ability to hit deadlines, maintain strong attention to detail, and produce top-notch code. I believe that I would be one of the top contributors to your team, given my strong background in Computer Science combined with my previous internship experiences in planning, executing, monitoring and closing a variety of projects, and my strong work ethic. An opportunity like that would not only help me further develop my career goals by working with the experts on your team but also deliver a significant impact.
