AEC Sustainability Specialist, Finance
I'm a registered architect and sustainability expert in the AEC industry. I also enjoy graphic design.
Hello!
All my life I have been passionate about the environment. I studied ecology as an undergraduate and devoted much of my time to leading and organizing sustainability initiatives on campus. This led me to graduate school where I focused on sustainability in the constructed environment, and earned a dual Master of Architecture and a Master of Environmental Management.
Since then, I've become a registered architect, and am certified as a LEED and Living Futures Accredited Professional. I worked for several years at Atelier Ten, a global sustainability consultancy. I managed projects of all scales and typologies, including adaptive reuse, museum, healthcare, and masterplans with a wide range of sustainability goals like net-zero operational and embodied carbon, zero waste of resources, and net-zero water waste. Specific projects include the LEED Platinum and WELL Gold 550 Madison Avenue, LEED Platinum 370 Jay Street, LEED Platinum Colgate Benton Center, and Princeton Meadows Neighborhood. During my tenure at Atelier Ten, I also spearheaded several internal initiatives related to social equity and inclusivity.
In addition to sustainability consulting, I enjoy graphic design and have created graphics for the Yale Office of Sustainability, the Chemical Society Review, and A Fly Girl's Guide To University: Being a Woman of Colour at Cambridge and Other Institutions of Elitism and Power.
I also volunteer as a mentor for the ACE Mentorship program where I work with high school students who are interested in learning more about the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.
