Zoe Bezpalko

Bonjour!

As a Impact Design Program Manager for the Sustainability+Foundation team at Autodesk, I support organizations from NGOs to large firms in achieving impact through design, and technology.

I'm an environmental engineer by training and spent few years traveling the world on helping start-ups designing and producing more sustainable products. I then moved to San Francisco to study an MBA in Design Strategy which gave me strong skills in entrepreneurship, design thinking, and project management.

I am a designer, environmental engineer and globe trotter who strongly believe in the smart use of technology and design as the key for solving global issues.

I started my career as an environmental engineer in France and Colombia before managing “The Leapfrog Project” in Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. The Leapfrog Project promoted sustainable innovation with designers and local businesses in South East Asia.

In 2016, I graduated from an MBA in Design Strategy and developed complementary skills in the field of design and entrepreneurship, working with start-ups in innovations.
I now combine my competences and passions at the Autodesk Foundation - the first foundation to focus corporate philanthropy on design that addresses environmental, social, health, and education challenges. As the Impact Design Program Manager, I am supporting customers and organizations using software tools and emerging technologies to maximize their impact. I also mentor organizations in the way they measure and communicate their impact.

My passions in design, sustainability and technology also emerge in my own art practice. My latest project: Reclaim The Water, a participative experience on the history of San Francisco unused fresh underground water, was presented at the 2016 Market Street Prototyping Festival.
