I worked 3.5 years as a structural engineer for Martin/Martin. I was a part of multiple different types of projects ranging from: hospitals, entertainment complexes, and art pieces. For my 3rd year, I switched teams to be on the investigative side of structural engineering where I applied my prior knowledge to conduct structural assessments and non-destructive testing for fall protection and façade access equipment.
In addition to structural engineering, I spent my additional time being a part of SE3 (Structural Engineering Engagement, and Equity Committee) and NCSEA (National Council of Structural Engineers Association), as the DEI chair and external communications committee member, respectively.
