I am a member of Autodesk's Research organization and the Manufacturing Industry Futures Team, with a strong background in Additive Manufacturing and medical device design. In my current role as a Technical Consultant I work with industry partners to develop concepts that take advantage of the future of design and manufacturing. I have previously worked as a Product Development Engineer and Senior Additive Manufacturing Application Engineer for a leading Medical Device company, where I was mainly focused on identifying opportunities to apply the next generation of design and manufacturing to Orthopedic Implants and Robotics.

MORE

I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, where I participated in a Co-op program that afforded me the opportunity to work in a number of roles in manufacturing, packaging, concept development, and sustaining engineering at Consumer Products and Medical Device companies. Upon joining the workforce full time, I began as a Product Development Engineer focused on the design of Partial Knee Implants for robotic implantation. Throughout my co-op and full time experiences I built a background in polymer and metal additive manufacturing techniques, and when a new Additive Manufacturing Applications team was formed, I was selected to join the team with responsibility for the Joint Replacement and Robotics businesses. In this role I performed Design for Additive Manufacturing training, Additive Concept Development, Additive technology evaluation, and led the research of next-generation design tools in the fields of Topology Optimization and Lattice Structures.

As part of the Manufacturing Industry Futures team, I have had the opportunity to work with customers from several industries to help create unique solutions using Autodesk's tools such as Fusion360, Generative Design, Netfabb, and CFD along with my Additive Manufacturing background. I love my role because I am able to work with customers to generate innovative solutions that differentiate them in their industry. I am motivated by, and get great satisfaction from, helping customers reach solutions they could not have without applying next-generation design or manufacturing concepts.
