I am a civil engineering professional, an Autodesk Certified Instructor, and Expert Elite alumni specializing in implementation, technical support, and training civil infrastructure applications. I am continuing to learn new workflows in CAD, BIM, and GIS. I provide technical troubleshooting and guidance to resolve customer-reported software adoption barriers and contribute to knowledge base development for Autodesk civil infrastructure solutions.

Hello everyone, My name is Samir. My background is in civil engineering, I had the privilege to be part of several civil design consulting firms working on transportation and site/land development projects, with a short venture in a construction management role. I started drawing things during an internship in 2006 where I instantly was hooked on making beautiful drawings, and later got fascinated with scripting AutoCAD to take frequent coffee breaks.
Recently, as a technical specialist with an Autodesk partner, I thoroughly enjoyed teaching, training, and helping customers find improved and/or efficient workflows to simply enable a more pleasant workday, beautiful drawings, and better projects. I am a Civil 3D super fan at heart, and a Dynamo enthusiast. Love good CAD practices and enjoy learning about new technology workflows specifically as it relates to civil Infrastructure.
When I take a break from my computer, I enjoy hiking, camping, scuba diving, traveling, and driving my Jeep.
