My name is Sebastian. I am a trained Software Engineer from Berlin, Germany. I have worked in multiple start-ups in the area and focused mainly on backend technologies. During that time, I also lead several software engineering teams. I loved seeing teams and people grow, eventually taking over much more responsibility. I enjoy passing over my knowledge to other people (in writing and on video), which includes mentoring and sponsoring.

People enjoy working with me because of my dry humor and calm demeanor even in pressure situations. I have trust in people by default. I believe that they will do their best to achieve goals set. In turn, people can trust me as well and be sure that I will keep my word.

I am a nature person. To counter being inside a lot because of my job, I try to be outside with my little daughter and our two dogs. To counter creating a lot of digital products, I also enjoy fixing broken things and working with my hands. In the past, I rebuilt old furniture, bikes as well as electronics.
