I enjoy taking projects from research to the real world. I have degrees in mechanical engineering, but I'm passionate about keeping ideas from getting stuck at the conceptual stage and want to see real change in my community and world as we bring ideas to fruition.

MORE

My ambition is to use software skills to solve mechanical engineering problems that affect the real world. While getting my doctorate in mechanical engineering, I developed skills in mechanical engineering core competencies, including control systems and additive manufacturing, as well as software skill sets in optimization, GPU computing, and embedded systems.

My research in computer-driven design for additive manufacturing led me to a "dream job" position at Autodesk where I build manufacturing constraints for the generative design shape synthesizer inside of Fusion 360, ensuring that the designs it produces are manufacturable and add value in real engineering design problems. I leverage my multidisciplinary background to the benefit of the teams I work with, helping translate between manufacturing, engineering, and software experts and build holistic solutions that actually work.
