I'm a dynamic digital marketer with experience in content marketing, email marketing, brand and strategy development, and marketing automation. I'm also interested in startups, sales enablement, and persona development.

I'm Ally Greer and I bring more than 6 years of digital marketing experience to the table. After graduating from the Smeal College of Business at Penn State in 2012, I joined the small team at Scoop.it, a startup building a content marketing tool for other small businesses and startups. During the 4 years that I worked at Scoop.it, I held positions in community management, social media management, content marketing, sales enablement, demand generation, and more.
After working on my broad set of marketing skills, I moved on to the consumer apartment rental company Zumper. There, I led field marketing as well as a college ambassador program for a year before spending the following year and a half building an extensive marketing automation program with Pardot in order to move potential tenants through the rental process. I also worked closely with the PR and communications team to build the first version of Zumper's brand story and to create personas based upon stages of the customer journey.
Overall, I'm passionate about everything related to marketing, content, writing, and strategy.
When I'm not working, I can likely be found at a comedy show, a baseball game, or wandering San Francisco listening to podcasts.
