Daniel Brown

I have more than 30 years of experience in the Design & Manufacturing, IT, and Project Management Industries. I have worked with manufacturing customers in the following industries: industrial machinery, aerospace & defense, shipbuilding, healthcare, consumer product design, automotive, and the food & beverage industry. I am also active in community services (past firefighter, EMT, and currently serve in town's Office of Emergency Management).

I have over 30 years of experience in the IT, Project Management and Manufacturing Industries. I have experience working with manufacturing customers in the following industries: industrial machinery, aerospace & defense, shipbuilding, healthcare, consumer product design, automotive, and the food & beverage industry.

In my current role I manage a highly skilled global team of subject matter experts focusing on injection molding, additive manufacturing, computer aided manufacturing (CAM/CAE), robotics and simulation.

Before coming to Autodesk, Daniel managed a team of Application Engineers at an Autodesk reseller. Prior to the reseller channel, he owned a consulting company that specialized in MRP, ERP and Accounting systems, Programming, and network design and installation.

I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and an M.S. in Engineering Management. I have been using Autodesk software for the past 25+ years and am familiar with our Product Design portfolio. I am most proficient in Inventor, Fusion 360, AutoCAD Mechanical, ReCap, and our Factory Design utilities.

In my free time I like to design new products and gadgets for home and amateur radio use in Inventor and Fusion on my 3D printer.

I enjoy working on team projects where a diverse group of personalities combine to make something awesome.
