Senior Manager, Global Culture Strategy & Programs, PPL (People & Places)
Hello! 👋 I'm a program leader, educator and coach focused on developing connected organizations for the future of work. In my role with Autodesk's Culture, Diversity & Belonging team, I support our global teams in embracing values that enable a high-performance culture. I also have my own business for wellbeing and Emotional Intelligence (EQ) training, bursty.
When I first started in my career, preparing people for the future of work meant STEM education. I spent over a decade with youth and K12 teachers across North America, building high-impact skills programs and creating access to post-secondary pathways and careers in science & tech, especially in rural, remote, and Indigenous communities.
But the future of work is more than just tech. Transformation comes from embracing what makes us uniquely human.
Now, I focus on building human-centered workplaces that are connected, inclusive, and empower people to thrive while facing complex challenges. My experience as a global Employee Experience leader at Amazon Web Services (AWS) taught me that even the biggest corporations with the most advanced tech need to put people first.
I've delivered 100+ talks and executive-level workshops to audiences around the world on topics including design thinking, leading with empathy and psychological safety. Some of my past speaking engagements include a TED-Ed Talk, "The Key to Work is Play", and conferences including the Canada Wellbeing at Work Summit, Amazon's Global Accessibility Awareness Month, the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) and International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).
Outside of work, I love hiking, creative writing, and spending time in nature with my partner and two kids.
