A maker with a passion for enabling creators in mixed-media design and fabrication

MORE

I have a passion for combining physical and digital work with a background In collaborative project-based design. I thrive when creating innovative solutions to problems on a tight time schedule and am in my element when I'm in the design/innovation space. I am particularly interested in design improvement, prototyping, and fabrication optimization.

I have a background in education and cut my teeth at NuVu Studios in Cambridge first as a student, then as a coach. I'm trained in design thinking and have a passion for enabling creators.

After getting a Digital Media degree from the University of Rochester (where I launched the UR Maker's Club and worked in an extreme state plasma lab as a machinist), I built and ran an education-focused maker space integrating traditional pedagogical styles with modern design thinking methods and project-based learning. At Autodesk, I help support our simulation suites Nastran and CFD and try and keep up with all the incredible advancements in Fusion360 (as a daily user of that suite for my personal projects)

In my personal time, you can find me working on an infinite number of projects, whether it's re-wiring my house, doing consulting work for startups, building, designing, and modifying car parts for my 76 LandCruiser or BMW 330i ZSP, or helping my friends make with their projects, I'm always up to something. The poster child for ADHD I love to learn and get my hands dirty in any project
