MORE

I started learning programming when I was a teen out of interest for computer games. After finishing school I studied computer science at the University of Applied Science Darmstadt, where I received both my bachelor and master degree. My bachelor thesis was related to the simulation of fires in tunnels and the simulation of lighting conditions in such events. For my masters thesis I wrote a Hybrid CPU-GPU raytracer for Autodesk VRED which was able to compute high quality visualizations of products very quickly.

After my study I worked for a small company creating weather visualization software which is used by weather services, air traffic control and TV/Print. My first project here was a software for displaying and editing images from weather satellites. After that I worked on smaller projects, including a real time web based weather visualization software for air traffic control. My last project at this company was a software for 3D weather visualizations based on data provided by national weather services, which was mainly used by TV stations to create the weather maps in their news.

Now I'm back at Autodesk working again on VRED, a software for high quality product visualization mainly used in the automotive industry.
